I was thinking to add something different then just digital art. Something that fits to my job as technician.
For those who are interested I´ll post some technical information about car technology and repair tips. Just for the fun of it ;P

But since my native language is german, these explanations will be too. Hope you folks don´t mind, maybe I´ll translate it somehow.

Sidonia no Kishi

I´m sure some of you Nihei fans surely know about "Sidonia no Kishi" - for those who don´t :
Volume 1 Chapter 1-3 are up

Nihei changed his drawing style this time, it´s not as dark and cold as it used to be. More like the "light" version of his academy drawing style - don´t get me wrong, it´s still awesome ^^

It should be available on mangafox, which I put into my online manga link section.

About the story

Seems like Nihei-san is into mecha-school stuff too. Mechpilot trainees are off on some simple missions, till they encountered the "gauna" again. Their complex biosystem is, unlike in Abara, explained a bit more. Apparently a gauna can only be killed with a very rare weapon.

Well, I had quite a playlist of very rare songs - and awesome ones too ;P - but playlist.com decided that cannot hear them anymore because of copyright-shit in relation with my country.
It´s like that thing with youtube - they suck too - "this video is not allowed in your country" ...
So I have to hide my ip to watch videos that caught my eye ?

Seagate Free Agent

I have to admit that the idea behind that hard drive was very ... innovative.

Everything started when I began to think that I need a new external hard drive. So I went into my local electronic market and started to search for one. More exactly for one that has an eSATA port, so that I can install and run games without complications.

That was the basic idea

So it came that I decided to buy that Seagate Free Agent model. It has switchable ports - Firewire, USB 2.0 and eSATA *yay*

Well - the design was nice too ^^"

And now the blow - Seagate didn't sold any eSATA cable together with that drive o_O. So I went and buy´d one for 20 bucks. I plugged that sucker in and ...

... nothing

At least the BIOS did recognize my new drive -_-
eSATA was not working. I tried everything and ended up searching in forums for an answer. And believe it or not, there was a reason why Seagate didn't sold that cable together with that drive.

Because they knew that it sucked

But - they released an unofficial firmware update *yay* - that came together with a java installer (?). So I installed that thing, and let it reprogram my drive. All I can say that this was my greatest mistake in my whole "computer-lifetime"

Now my Firewire and my eSATA port is busted - all I can use now is that usb 2.0 *pfff*. I don´t know, but Seagate fucked this one up so bad. Just a big disappointment -_-

So if your going to buy yourself, or anyone else a new hard drive - stay as far as possible away from that one. Believe me, I´m not the only one who has problems.

Maybe some of you know already - there is a Cg Movie coming out - and it´s about BLAME! *YAY*

BLAME! Movie Announced

Plans for a full CG feature film adaptation of Tsutomu Nihei's cyberpunk manga BLAME! have been announced at the current Tokyo Anime Fair. The film's release will be preceded by the release of a short, promotional DVD this summer. Animate.tv hosts a small image of the planned production.
